Part 1 — General Terms (All InnovaLabWorks Products)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any product or service offered by InnovaLabWorks, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Definitions

• "Products" means all software applications, websites, and services offered by InnovaLabWorks
• "Services" means all features, functionality, and content provided through our Products
• "Content" means all text, images, templates, and other materials available in our Products
• "Generated Content" means any content created using AI-powered features
• "User" means any individual who accesses or uses our Products or Services

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Products. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

5. User Accounts

Our Products currently do not require account creation or login credentials. This may change in future versions, in which case updated account-related terms will apply.

6. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Products for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Installation and use of the Curriq iOS application is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which Apple provides at no charge through the App Store. These Terms complement that agreement and govern your use of the Curriq service itself.

7. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Products
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Circumvent any security or access controls
• Use our Products for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute templates or AI-generated content as standalone products
• Use automated bots or scripts to access our Products
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

8. Intellectual Property

All code, designs, templates, AI systems, branding, and other intellectual property in our Products are owned by InnovaLabWorks. CURRIQ is a trademark of 9547-8715 Quebec inc.

9. User Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using our Products, including resumes, cover letters, and job applications. We do not claim ownership of your content. Note that AI features may generate similar content for different users based on similar inputs.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Products to:

• Create fraudulent or misleading resume content
• Misrepresent your qualifications or credentials
• Create defamatory, obscene, or offensive content
• Engage in any unlawful activity
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Products
• Abuse support channels or rate-limiting systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

11. Subscriptions & Payments

All billing is processed through Apple’s App Store via StoreKit. InnovaLabWorks does not collect or store payment information.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Manage or cancel subscriptions via Apple ID Settings
• Refund requests are handled through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com)
• AI credits are non-refundable once consumed
• Extra Credits are non-refundable digital goods that never expire
• Subscription prices may change. Apple will notify you of any price increase via push notification, email, and in-app message before your next renewal. If the increase exceeds Apple’s pricing thresholds, your consent is required before renewal at the new price. If you do not consent, your subscription will expire at the end of the current billing period. One-time purchases already completed (such as Extra Credits) are not affected by future price changes

12. AI-Powered Features Disclaimer

AI features in CURRIQ are powered by Claude (Anthropic). When you use AI features, your resume data is sent to Anthropic’s servers for processing.

Important: AI-generated content is provided as-is. Outputs are AI-generated, not guaranteed to be accurate, and you are responsible for reviewing all content before using it professionally. InnovaLabWorks is not responsible for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content.

Your data sent to Anthropic is used for processing only — it is not stored permanently and is not used to train AI models, as per Anthropic’s Commercial Terms.

13. No Warranty / AS-IS Disclaimer

Our Products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InnovaLabWorks’ total liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our Products shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $50.

In no event shall InnovaLabWorks be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InnovaLabWorks, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our Products or violation of these Terms.

16. Data Protection

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to your personal data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Deletion is available in-app and via our contact form.

17. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including Quebec’s Law 25, GDPR, and other relevant data protection regulations.

18. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Products at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

19. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Quebec, Canada.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our Products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Part 2 — CURRIQ-Specific Terms

The following terms apply specifically to the CURRIQ: AI Resume Builder iOS application.

24. Subscription Plans

CURRIQ offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free: 1 resume, 3 basic templates, 3 AI credits (lifetime, never reset), watermarked PDF export
• Pro Monthly ($9.99 USD / 12.99 CAD / £9.99 GBP / 9.99 EUR): Unlimited resumes, all templates, 50 AI credits/month, clean PDF export, resume parsing, priority support
• Pro Yearly ($49.99 USD / 69.99 CAD / £49.99 GBP / 49.99 EUR): Everything in Pro Monthly + 100 AI credits/month, save 58%
• Extra Credits (20 for $4.99 USD / 6.99 CAD / £4.99 GBP / 4.99 EUR): Requires active Pro subscription, never expire

25. AI Credit Costs

• AI write: 1 credit
• AI rewrite: 1 credit
• AI suggestion: 1 credit
• Resume import: 2 credits
• Job-specific tailoring: 2 credits
• AI translate: 2 credits
• Cover letter generation: 2 credits
• Cover letter adjustments: 1 credit
• Resume import translation: 1 credit
• Manual editing: Free
• Template switching: Free
• PDF export: Free

26. Subscription Expiry

When your subscription expires:

• Pro features lock immediately — you return to the Free tier
• Monthly credit refills stop
• Extra credits you purchased are preserved forever
• Extra credits remaining do NOT grant Pro status
• You cannot purchase new extra credits without an active subscription

27. Template & Content License

Templates included in CURRIQ are licensed for personal and professional use in creating your own resumes and cover letters. You may not extract, redistribute, or sell templates as standalone products.

28. Your Data & iCloud Sync

Curriq stores your content (resumes, cover letters, profile, and settings) on your device and optionally syncs it to your personal iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit service. You retain full ownership of your data at all times. iCloud sync is subject to Apple’s Terms of Service and requires an active Apple ID.

29. Data Deletion

You may delete all your data at any time via Settings → Delete My Data. You will be required to confirm this action by typing “DELETE.” Upon confirmation, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from your device and from iCloud/CloudKit. This includes all resumes, cover letters, profile information, settings, and any other content associated with your account. This action cannot be undone.
